Description
This kit is intended for pregnancies that are under 12 weeks at the time of your order.
Included in this kit:
- 2 Combination packs, each containing 1 Mifepristone and 4 Misoprostol tablets (Total: 2 Mifepristone and 8 Misoprostol tablets)
Mifepristone blocks the action of progesterone, a key hormone necessary for maintaining the pregnancy. Without this hormone, the uterine lining breaks down, similar to a menstrual period, halting the pregnancy’s growth.
Misoprostol works to increase uterine contractions, which helps to terminate the pregnancy.
Instructions:
- Take one (1) Mifepristone tablet. To reduce nausea, you can take anti-nausea medication.
- Wait 24 to 48 hours.
- Take four (4) Misoprostol tablets, placing them between your gums and cheeks to dissolve for approximately 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can place the pills under your tongue or insert them into your vagina. If using your mouth, swallow any remaining tablets after 30 minutes. If using your vagina, discard any pills that fall out after 30 minutes.
- If you are between 8 and 11 weeks pregnant, wait 4 hours after step 3, then take an additional 4 Misoprostol tablets.This kit is designed for pregnancies under 12 weeks.
